Professional activity: Engineer, Department Manager & Plant Manager – IPRS Baneasa, Power Semiconductor Devices Factory (1974-1996). Marketing & Sales Manager, General Manager – AGA Gaz Romania, Romanian subsidiary of the Swedish multinational AGA (1996-2000). Technical Manager – Linde Gaz Romania, Romanian subsidiary of the German multinational Linde (2000-2014). Operations Manager – South-Eastern European area of the German multinational Linde (2014-2017). Invited lecturer at UPB and ASEBUSS Bucharest (1991-2010).

Scientific research and contributions: Works presented at national/international conferences, 30 scientific papers and 3 technical books published as author or co-author – in the field of semiconductors. Main contributions in the following areas: Schottky diode with edge protection – simulation, modelling, manufacturing; metal-semiconductor contact – investigations, modelling, technological aspects (particularly regarding Si/Al contacts and silicides); hybrid semiconductor device for TV sweeping (integrated fast thyristor and diode, glass-passivated, in metal and plastic case); technologies for medium power diodes and thyristors, soldered, passivated with glass or organic materials.

Management achievements: Sustainable economic and competitive performance of Power Semiconductor Devices Factory of IPRS Baneasa. Establishment and development of the Romanian subsidiary of the multinational corporation AGA, from the very beginning until the merger with Linde. Performance acknowledged by Linde Group regarding development, restructuring and optimization of operations in Romania and the South-Eastern European area.
